The Isle of Bute lies in Scotland's Firth of Clyde, tucked into the spectacular sea lochs of southern Argyll. It measures 15 miles long by 4 miles wide and is less than two hours travel from the City of Glasgow.  The Island enjoys a relatively mild climate, benefiting from the Gulf Stream, and holidays can be a joy at all seasons of the year.  There are many activities and historic places of interest.  Just a few are shown below:
